Anita started in the mortgage business in August of 1997. She began assisting with marketing for a loan officer a couple of days a week and the rest of the week worked in the setup department disclosing loans, working directly for the mortgage company.
By the end of my time at that company, she had processing, underwriting, and closing experience as well. At additional companies, she developed underwriting skills further and earned her DE for FHA as well as doing compliance work and auditing.
Anita feels that OnTo really gives its employees the opportunity to challenge themselves and push their skills to the next level. The company is very supportive of individual goals as well as the overall company goals. Most recently, she earned her VA credit underwriting number and OnTo made it possible for her to focus on obtaining that goal. OnTo Mortgage’s core value of counting on each other is so important. Everyone here knows that they are here and ready to help each other succeed.
Outside of work she enjoys traveling and going out to restaurants, seeing what there is to see in new and interesting places. Anita was born and raised in Concord Massachusetts. She has been a Massachusetts resident her entire life but says “who knows what tomorrow will bring”.
